What Has Been Broken (Prologue)
What had he done...
He looked out over the lands of the ravaged planet. The entire world was completely awry. Large chunks of the land were ripped away, and were floating through the red smoke-filled skies. Cities were completely decimated, and the buildings left behind were either heavily damaged or just the bare structural skeletons of what they were. Bright blue fires continued to spread, engulfing whatever life it reached in the bright azure flames. Volcanoes erupted on a wide-scale, blotting out the sky with a thick layer of dark ash clouds. There was even a lava tornado a thousand miles in diameter that ripped across the land, incinera

A Princess's Mission Chapter 5
Luna dashed out the door, Twilight right behind her. They could spot the four headed beast over the rooftops. It was slowly making its way forward. Luna took to the skies, her wings stretching out and lifting her into the air, while Twilight quickly navigated through the streets. She flew forward, then steadied to a glide as she circled around the monster, trying to make out how much damage was being caused. It was still on the brim of Ponyville, though a few houses had already been smashed and people were scattering everywhere in fright. Though, she found where the scream came from, though she wishes she didn't.
Far down below, Spike lay

A Princess's Mission Chapter 4
As Luna pulled her consciousness back into her own mind, the last thing she expected was the wall that seemed to hit her head-on. 'Drowsy' was an understatement, she was absolutely exhausted. She could barely think properly, but she could tell that she didn't correctly calculate the amount of magic and energy that was required to not only completely clean out and restock a library, but suspend herself in another person's dreams. Getting into a fight once there had only added to the problem. As much as she tried to fight the urge, sleep began to overtake her, and being wrapped in a warm blanket became her worst enemy in the struggle. Even tho

Spike's Day Off
Spike brushed his teeth, getting his breakfast off his breath, and replacing it with the minty coolness of toothpaste. He could simply breathe fire to get rid of it, but he decided this was better than the smell of incinerated bacon and eggs. He rinsed his mouth, and walked back to his bedroom. There was one more thing he needed to retrieve before leaving. He walked to his bedside table, opened the drawer, and delicately picked up the shiny silver object. Just then, the doorbell rang.
He quickly pocketed it and glanced out his door. Luna was standing there, talking to Applebloom. He marveled for a moment how pretty she was

Chapter Three
"Oh Luna We shouldn't Spike might hear us " Twilight said softly, wrapped in Luna's arms.
"Shh... don't worry about him it's all about us right now " Luna replied sweetly, moving her face back towards Twilight's.
Luna awoke slowly, not quite wanting to leave her dream, but found herself pulled out of it anyways. And like all great dreams, she couldn't manage to fall back asleep to rejoin it. She snuggled close to the soft, warm pillow she had her arms wrapped around. Hugging it, she nuzzled her face into the soft, sweet smelling locks of hair that lay next to her. She loved the small, dreamy moa

Luna's Arrival
Luna was soon flying over the outskirts of Ponyville, the orchard of apple trees that made up the Sweet Apple Acres orchard speeding past. She could see Twilight's library approaching, easily spotted since it was the only building that was literally carved into a live tree. How the building stayed alive without its internal structuring, Luna never knew. Although, looking over it, she became aware of the dull light that was slowly spreading from the eastern horizon. She had almost forgotten her one true duty of being the Goddess of the Night.
Flipping over so that she was flying upside down, she focused on the huge, pearly w

A Princess's Mission Chapter 1
Introduction
Luna looked out at the dark lands of Equestria. She leaned against the stone railing that surrounded the balcony of her room, in the second highest tower of Canterlot Castle, the first belonging to her sister. She soon found her eyes landing on the small town of Ponyville, watching as lights went out, one after another, as the inhabitants retired to bed. She let out a long sigh, her eyes dropping to stare at her hands, which were folded and resting on the carefully carved balcony border. Yes, she knew not many people stayed up to enjoy her beautiful nights, but it pained her to see the loneliness that turned her into the dreade
